The Best Australian Poems 2011

I'm happy to say that my poem, 'Expat', will be included in this year's Best Australian Poems, published by Black Inc. in November 2011.

Thanks Richard. That's very kind of you. I really liked your poem too, especially the harp strings/prison bars image. It reminded me of something Clive James wrote in Cultural Amnesia: 'art proves its value by still mattering to people who have been deprived of every other freedom'.
